Project Protein Student Leaders Plan Chilren's Day With Aj. Thongin Nuntarat, Project Coordinator


Donations start to roll in



The first day of the two-day festival is for hands-on education. Children learn new sustainable methods under the supervision of their parents and teachers.  The focus is on the kids to ensure continuity into new generations. They learn about raising fish, mushrooms, chickens, and organic vegetables.





The next day devoted to educational and some non-educational fun with the volunteeers and families.

Two special Project Protein supporters help for both days.  Suzanne Pitcher from Florence, Italy, and Mary Hanson from the USA and now Chiang Mai are generous supporters and honored by the villagers as visiting dignitaries. 



Project sponsors include many Thai individuals and families, as well as some international organizations. Big gifts from Australia New Zealand Women's Group and the British Women's Group of Bangkok made completion of the Project possible

  PROJECT WIN IS GRASSROOTS PARTNERSHIPS FOR THAILAND Project WIN is named after our founder, Ajarn Thongin Nuntarat, M.A. His Thai nickname "Vin" is pronounced "Win." We're an informal coalition of volunteers involved in a wide array of projects, usually at the request and invitation of local Thai and Hilltribe people.   Before Covid, Vin organized large projects that included installing fishponds, vegetable gardens, poultry operations, mushroom "hotels," according to village needs.  He led a big team of argicultural university students who worked alongside villagers for several days to set up the projects and provide training.  There was open a big party at the end, with the volunteers providing music and comedy performances directed at the kid. THE MAGIC IN MUSHROOMS FOR KHUN SAB

This is inside one of the mushroom barns at the big farm. The lady is harvesting. We drove to the factory to see the magic. There, expert cultivators stir a special sterilized compost, a different recipe for each type of mushroom. They carefully pour the mixture into strong plastic bags, then inoculate it with spores and seal the bag tightly.  All the bags are dated and you can order ones that will begin to produce when you want them to. ศศช.บ้านห้วยพระเจ้า ตำบลป่าแป๋ อำเภอเชียงดาว จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นศูนย์การเรียนให้กับเด็กๆ ที่ขาดแคลนโอกาส ในหมู่บ้านห้วยพระเจ้า มีครูประจำ 1 คน เด็กนักเรียนทั้งหมด 23 คน ส่วนใหญ่ฐานะยากจนซึ่งในวันเสาร์ที่สองของเดือนมกราคมของทุกปีจะมีการจัดกิจกรรมให้เด็กๆ ในโรงเรียนต่างๆ เพื่อสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมทางการศึกษา การพัฒนาการให้กับเด็กนักเรียนโดยเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้สนใจและต้องการทำกิจกรรมกับเด็กๆ ได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ในโอกาสดังกล่าว ProjectWIN และชมรมเพื่อนพ้องน้องพี่ได้เข้าสำรวจพื้นที่และพบปัญหาคือสภาพห้องครัว ไม่สะอาด ไม้ผุ พัง และมีของวางไม่เป็นระเบียบ รวมไปถึงแปลงผักของเด็กๆ ที่ขาดการดูแล กิจกรรมสำหรับงานวันเด็กของเรา แบ่งออกเป็นสองวัน วันที่ 1 ทีมอาสาสมัคร แบ่งเป็นสองชุด ชุดแรงเข้าปรับปรุง โรงอาหาร ให้กับเด็กๆ ซึ่งได้รับความร่วมมือจากทีมชมรม เพื่อนพ้องน้องพี่ มาพร้อมอุปกรณ์ Ban Huai Phra Chao Educational Service Area Office, Pa Pae Subdistrict, Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province That’s the location of a special learning center for children.
